Well here it is....Christmas 2008...we have a big fat mess to deal with, but what I'd like to say here and now, with all of these "bailouts" the first group to have to pay is the Bush Administration. He and his crew of thieves have managed to put this country in such deep debt, that he, as a Commander & Chief, has failed. Should we pay anyone that has failed in his mission? I say no! Make Bush and ALL of his Administration pay back to the American People EVERY dime we have paid them while in office! Further, if you pay any attention to what I've said, you will vote, insist, demand that the Bush Administration be put on trial, impeached, and incarcerated for crimes against this country!!! Sit on your ass and die....stand and live to not just bitch, but act!

Obama, President Elect

I'm very glad that Obama won, but boy I don't envy the mess he's got to deal with. I think he will put together a sensible cabinet, and hopefully he will get some important issues dealt with. I would not as a citizen excuse Bush & Cheney for anything. I'd like to take a look at their net worths especially since they've been in office. A firing squad is too good for the both of them

I've noticed that people with money don't want it just going to anybody...they want their name stamped on every dollar they give away, or are forced to give. They don't see things in the same light that I do. If I give something to someone, it's face to face usually, and it probably is without strings. If I give, I give. If I buy, I buy. Simple as that. I don't need medals, shrines, or churches following me around with a donation plate. I just hate seeing people go without basic things that make this life livable.

TOLERATION:
Toleration and tolerance are terms used in social, cultural and religious contexts to describe attitudes and practices that prohibit discrimination against those practices or group memberships that may be disapproved of by those in the majority. Conversely, 'intolerance' may be used to refer to the discriminatory practices sought to be prohibited. I think the people of the US have become so intolerant of everything from soup to nuts. You can't smoke, drink, cop a buzz, or drive. You can't say certain words, and you sure as hell can't do most of the above in front of anyone. You can't show enthusiasm, and trust me if you do, you are subject to enforcement of "quiet your ass down" procedures by the powers that be, and it doesn't matter how old or young you are. You are subject to approval or disapproval from a long, long list of criteria. Yes, I am aware that, drinking and driving kills people....I wonder if those people were going to die anyway? Drugs ruin lives....especially if you're caught with them and do a stiff 20 in prison. Smoking tobacco is a no-no-no. It's the newest no-no that's hitting everywhere. Can't smoke in public places...even if it's outside..yup there's states that have those laws. You know, the second-hand smoke deal. Never mind we're breathing air in the first place that is so polluted from factories, cars....but nope you are not allowed to pollute yourself around anyone. This all just makes too damn much sense to me. You are no longer an individual, and there is no thinking like one either. (well you can, just as long as you don't get caught).
I'm hoping in the next eight years, some of this bullshit will lighten up a bit. Whew, these fucking Republicans are such assholes, and anyone who wants to mimic their behavior makes me ill.

Here we are at two weeks to blast off. As usual, the Republicans have GOT to come up with something, and of course it has been circulating....Obama is an undercover terrorist, with terrorist connections. I even had a guy send me a whole list of things that Muslim extremist have done over the past decade, ie, blown up this and that...and of course right in the middle of it is Obama. No, I won't pass garbage like that on, I dumped it in the shitter right where it belongs. Not only does Palin lack experience, but I don't think she would have an easy time at gaining respect amongst our allies should she be forced into the Presidency. Oh, and let's not forget Obama is a "socialist". That's funny...we just gave Wall Street 700m to bail their claims that the "sky is falling". There's something about that that spells socialism, not to mention the U.S. has been supporting railroads, banks, for how long now???....another form of socialism. It's ok for corporate America to get socialistic standards, but holy shit if a single individual gets something considered socialist, like free health care...wham...we are the verge of Communism...yea right. BTW, all you Michigan voters, make sure you vote YES on Proposal 1. Medical Marijuana. It's ok for the drug companies to make,supply and sell drugs at bloated prices, but hell no on the marijuana do...since it can be grown in your own home...make sense?....nope. It never does. McCain is anti-abortion, but supports stem cell research...where does this nit think stem cell research comes from. Truly, I'm against abortion as a means of birth control, absolutely! I've watched a low-life member of my own family have at least six abortions, and it made me utterly sick to my stomach. When the bitch finally did decide to go full term, she failed at that one and went on a crack binge bringing in a six-week preemie addicted to crack. She was the one who should have been aborted, but I guess at this point since she's almost 40 years old, that's a little late..although firing squad isn't...hmmm.
So back to supporting medical marijuana, if someone is sick and it helps them, then what the hell is wrong with that? Further, I'd much rather legalize it, even though I'm not a smoker, I see nothing wrong with it.

"I'd rather have that fucking bitch from Alaska (it was obvious he didn't even know Palin's name), then have a fucking nigger runnin this country". No, I'm not going to hyphenate the b,f, or n words. It needs to be said right out loud for everyone to hear. It's the good 'ole boy system...male, white, and in charge. That's what a lot of folk in this neck of the woods are for, and many other places too. These same people would go back to "lynching" days if it weren't for a good many of us that wouldn't put up with it. Let it be known that these same folks really have no use for Palin either, but they're counting on the fact that McCake will make it through at least one term, and then by hook or CROOK they'll come up with something besides, black or female, or lord forbid both! Many women out there will vote Republican this go-round, not because they're squarely behind the issues, but because that's what daddy or hubby has taught them. The current econ crisis should be enough for anyone to look at the present situation and not want more of it. Some thing's gotta give here, and I'm not talking about the American People...our backs are just about broken.

OBAMA-KENNEDY FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

Recently I received a letter from Michael Moore..this man is a genius, and I agree wholeheartedly with his suggestion! Here it is:

Dear Caroline,

We've never met, so I hope you don't find this letter too presumptuous or inappropriate. As its contents involve the public's business, I am sending this to you via the public on the Internet. I knew your brother John. He was a great guy, and I know he would've had a ball during this thrilling and historic election year. We all miss him dearly.

Barack Obama selected you to head up his search for a vice presidential candidate. It appears we may be just days (hours?) away from learning who that choice will be.

The media is reporting that Senator Obama has narrowed his alternatives to three men: Joe Biden, Evan Bayh and Tim Kaine. They're all decent fellows, but they are far from the core of what the Obama campaign has been about: Change. Real change. Out with the old. And don't invade countries that pose no threat to us.

Senators Biden and Bayh voted for that invasion and that war, the war Barack ran against, the war Barack reminded us was the big difference between him and Senator Clinton because she voted for the war and he spoke out against it while running for Senate (a brave and bold thing to do back in 2002).

For Obama to place either of these senators on the ticket would be a huge blow to the millions that chose him in the primaries over Hillary. He will undercut one of the strongest advantages he has over the Hundred-Year War senator, Mr. McCain. By anointing a VP who did what McCain did in throwing us into this war, Mr. Obama will lose the moral high ground in the debates.

As for Governor Kaine of Virginia, his big problem is, well, Obama's big problem -- who is he? The toughest thing Barack has had to overcome -- and it will continue to be his biggest obstacle -- is that too many of the voters simply don't know him well enough to vote for him. The fact that Obama is new to the scene is both one of his most attractive qualities AND his biggest drawback. Too many Americans, who on the surface seem to like Barack Obama, just don't feel comfortable voting for someone who hasn't been on the national scene very long. It's a comfort level thing, and it may be just what keeps Obama from winning in November ("I'd rather vote for the devil I know than the devil I don't know").

What Obama needs is a vice presidential candidate who is NOT a professional politician, but someone who is well-known and beloved by people across the political spectrum; someone who, like Obama, spoke out against the war; someone who has a good and generous heart, who will be cheered by the rest of the world; someone whom we've known and loved and admired all our lives and who has dedicated her life to public service and to the greater good for all.

That person, Caroline, is you.

I cannot think of a more winning ticket than one that reads: "OBAMA-KENNEDY."

Caroline, I know that nominating yourself is the furthest idea from your mind and not consistent with who you are, but there would be some poetic justice to such an action. Just think, eight years after the last head of a vice presidential search team looked far and wide for a VP -- and then picked himself (a move topped only by his hubris to then lead the country to near ruin while in office) -- along comes Caroline Kennedy to return the favor with far different results, a vice president who helps restore America to its goodness and greatness.

Caroline, you are one of the most beloved and respected women in this country, and you have been so admired throughout your life. You chose a life outside of politics, to work for charities and schools, to write and lecture, to raise a wonderful family. But you did not choose to lead a private life. You have traveled the world and met with its leaders, giving you much experience on the world stage, a stage you have been on since you were a little girl.

The nation has, remarkably (considering our fascination with celebrity), left you alone and let you live your life in peace. (It's like, long ago, we all collectively agreed that, with her father tragically gone, a man who died because he wanted to serve his country, we would look out for her, we would wish for her to be happy and well, and we would have her back. But we would let her be.)

Now, I am breaking this unwritten code and asking you to come forward and help us in our hour of need. So many families are hurting, losing their homes, going bankrupt with health care bills, seeing their public schools in shambles and living with this war without end. This is a historic year for women, from Hillary's candidacy to the numerous women running for the House and Senate. This is the year that a woman should be on the Democratic ticket. This is the year that both names on that ticket should be people OUTSIDE the party machine. This is the year millions of independents and, yes, millions of Republicans are looking for something new and fresh and bold (and you are the Kennedy Republicans would vote for!).

This is the moment, Caroline. Seize it! And Barack, if you're reading this, you probably know that she is far too humble and decent to nominate herself. So step up and surprise us again. Step up and be different than every politician we have witnessed in our lifetime. Keep the passion burning amongst the young people and others who have been energized by your unexpected, unpredicted, against-all-odds candidacy that has ignited and inspired a nation. Do it for all those reasons. Make Caroline Kennedy your VP. "Obama-Kennedy." Wow, does that sound so cool.

Caroline, thanks for letting me intrude on your life. How wonderful it will be to have a vice president who will respect the Constitution, who will support (instead of control) her president, who will never let her staff out a CIA agent, and who will never tell her country that she is "currently residing in an undisclosed location."

Say it one more time: "OBAMA-KENNEDY." A move like that might send a message to the country that the Democrats would actually like to win an election for once.

Sen. John McCain missed two critical energy votes on H.R. 6, The Energy Independence and Security Act, in December 2007. These votes – on December 7th and 13th – would have stopped debate and allowed a vote on an energy bill that included critical tax incentives for renewable energy sources – a bill to strengthen national security, lower energy costs, reduce global warming, grow our economy and create new jobs, and increase American energy independence. These votes were critical to making a $21 billion investment in clean, renewable energy and energy efficiency, including a $3,000 tax credit to help working families afford fuel-efficient plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles. On the morning of December 13th, Sen. John McCain was the only United States Senator to not vote on this measure. The cloture vote needed sixty votes to pass. It failed, 59-40 and Senate Republicans forced the tax credits to be stripped from the larger energy bill in order to protect $13 billion in subsidies for Big Oil. 545 People By Charlie Reese Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them. Have you ever wondered why, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, we have deficits? Have you ever wondered why, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, we have inflation and high taxes? ♦ You and I don't propose a federal budget. The President does. ♦ You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations. The House of Representatives does. ♦ You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does. ♦ You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does. ♦ You and I don't control monetary policy, The Federal Reserve Bank does. One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president and nine Supreme Court justices - 545 human beings out of the 300 million - are directly, legally, morally and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country. I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress. In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered but private central bank. I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason. They have no legal authority. They have no ability to coerce a senator, a Congressman or a president to do one cotton-picking thing. I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash. The politician has the power to accept or reject it. No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes. Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault. They cooperate in this common con regardless of party. What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits. The president can only propose a budget. He cannot force the Congress to accept it. The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes. Who is the speaker of the House? She is the leader of the majority party. She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want. If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to. It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million can not replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility. I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist. ♦ If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair. ♦ If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red. ♦ If the Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ. ♦ If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way. There are no insoluble government problems. Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power. Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like 'the economy,' 'inflation' or 'politics' that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do. Those 545 people and they alone, are responsible. They and they alone, have the power. They and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses - provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees. We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

There was a Chemistry professor in a large college that

had some Exchange students in the class. One day while the class was

in the lab the Prof noticed one young man (exchange student) who kept

rubbing his back and stretching as if his back hurt.

The professor asked the young man what was the matter.

The student told him he had a bullet lodged in his back. He had been

shot while fighting communists in his native country who were trying

to overthrow his country's government and install a new communist

government.

In the midst of his story he looked at the professor and

asked a strange question. He asked,

'Do you know how to catch wild pigs?'

The professor thought it was a joke and asked for the punch line.

The young man said this was no joke. 'You catch wild

pigs by finding a suitable place in the woods and putting corn on the

ground. The pigs find it and begin to come everyday to eat the free

corn. When they are used to coming every day, you put a fence down one

side of the place where they are used to coming. When they get used to

the fence, they begin to eat the corn again and you put up another

side of the fence. They get used to that and start to eat again. You

continue until you have all four sides of the fence up with a gate in

the last side. The pigs, which are used to the free corn, start to

come through the gate to eat the free corn, you slam the gate on them

and catch the whole herd.

Suddenly the wild pigs have lost their freedom. They run

around and around inside the fence, but they are caught. Soon they go

back to eating the free corn. They are so used to it that they have

forgotten how to forage in the woods for themselves, so they accept

their captivity.

The young man then told the professor that is exactly

what he sees happening to America. The government keeps pushing us

toward Communism/Socialism and keeps spreading the free corn out in

the form of programs such as supplemental income, tax credit for

unearned income, tobacco subsidies, dairy subsidies, payments not to

plant crops (CRP), welfare, medicine, drugs, etc. while we continually

lose our freedoms, just a little at a time.

One should always remember 'There is no such thing as a

free Lunch!' Also, 'You can never hire someone to provide a service

for you cheaper than you can do it yourself.'

If you see that all of this wonderful government 'help'

is a problem confronting the future of democracy in America, you might

want to send this on to your friends. If you think the free ride is

essential to your way of life then you will probably delete this

email, but God help you when the gate slams shut!

It's too bad, because what we are talking about is Child Protective Services and their abuses. The Agency does and could be a God-send for many children who need protection. I think many of us have witnessed situations where abusive and negligent parents need to be called on the carpet for their crimes against their kids. I speak of the crack-heads who get pregnant and continue using while pregnant, thus bringing into the world premature, and sickly children; parents who expose their children to indecent behavior and persons that are known sexual offenders. There are children that are nothing more than a paycheck for the lazy and opportunists. So, in essence, I do think that CPS has a place in this society, but again being a government agency they do abuse their powers.

Many parents have been stripped of their God-given rights as parents to bring up their own children. Keeping in mind that the more cases these bastard CPS workers get, the more job security for them, and the foster care system. How do we sort out the children that need help from children and parents who are being abused by the system?
